A Reflective Practice Group for Helping Professionals

Reflect & Connect is a structured, facilitated group program designed to support helping professionals to deepen their relational awareness in both personal and professional contexts.

Grounded in relational, trauma-informed practice, the group offers a space to step back from the busyness of clinical work and reflect on how you relate - to yourself, your clients, your colleagues, and the systems you work within.

Deepen your relational awareness and strengthen how you show up in your work, your teams, and with yourself

Why this Group?

Many workers notice recurring patterns in their work; feeling over-responsible, avoiding conflict, striving to “get it right,” or becoming stuck in difficult interpersonal dynamics.

This group provides an opportunity to pause and make sense of these patterns, rather than staying in reactive cycles.

Through guided reflection and shared discussion, Experiential “mapping” exercises and opportunities to learn from colleagues - participants are supported to:

  • Recognise patterns in how they relate to others and themselves

  • Understand how internal processes (e.g. self-talk, expectations) shape their work

  • Notice relational roles they may step into (e.g. fixer, rescuer, withdrawer)

  • Explore more flexible and intentional ways of responding

  • Feel less alone through connection with other professionals

Rather than focusing on case-specific problem-solving, this group creates space to step back and reflect on the relational patterns that show up across your work - offering something different from, but complementary to, regular clinical supervision.
